Shed Kitchen

“This is hardly a culinary matter, of course, but cooking, we know, has a way of cutting through things, and to things, which have nothing to do with the kitchen. This is why it matters.” (Nigella Lawson)

Oh, how I love to cook….

It makes me relaxed, happy, and healthy. Learning to cook for myself changed my life; I’m willing to bet it can change yours too!

You can read my entire post on how to get started cooking and why it’s important here, and all about how I learned grill here. And I’ve posted my standard grocery list here.

Hey Rachel,
I’m making dinner with/for my girlfriends and I was wondering if you have any suggestions on something fairly easy that will feed about 4-6? Any favorites? Thanks!

Oh gosh…so many choices! The black bean burgers are always a huge hit and aren’t too complicated or pricey!! Same with the pesto turkey burgers, although you may want something a LITTLE fancier. The Greek lamb stew is a great soup, kinda unexpected. Everyone loves the apple and sweet potato dish, but I’d also recommend the baked pumpkin pasta or spinach and goat cheese pasta — both are light and delicious!

Ahhh I just love food too much!!
