I’ve heard such “great things” about it – was it really that bad? (Glad you didn’t give anything away other than to say it was awful.) I was disappointed in The Hurt Locker which we watched last night in prep for the Oscars….not best pic worthy IMHO.

It’s beyond unrealistic (not even in a good way) and most of the acting is just terrible (Taylor Swift, Jessica Alba). Casting THAT many gorgeous celebs as “real people” was irritating because it was SO unbelievable. Sorry, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel, but school teachers and PR girls don’t have arms like that. And Ashton is way too hot to be some lowly florist.
The only plot I really liked was Topher Grace/Anne Hathaway (and Eric Dane’s storyline is great!), but there are SO many plots, they all just feel underdeveloped. It’s just over-the top and ridiculous…to me it was like an SNL spoof of “Love Actually.”
I’m so slow today. I thought you were going to see Shutter Island. NOW I get it. Hence the “sold out” signs! Your review makes perfect sense
now. Lol!

Hahahaha, I absolutely love your blog. You crack me up. I can’t stand the multiple story-line movies like Love Actually, etc. I’ve heard V-day is the same and absolutely terrible.
Just stumbled upon your blog, but I’ll be a follower for sure.

So how was the movie? A gf of mine wants to drag me to see it, worth it or not?
It was awful. That’s why I distracted myself in the popcorn. Rent it…maybe…ugh, it was just awful.
Haha! Awesome post. You’re talented!
