Although I love a good quick beat for cardio, when I am walking up hills, Stairmastering, or strength training I like it slow and hard. [I know there's a joke in there somewhere, but I'm officially sick and therefore too wiped out to make one.] Many of these songs are what I call “the kind of rap that white girls like” — the kind of music that motivates them (me?) to do girl push-ups and biceps curls with teeny weights cause they (OK, yes, me) like hearing all the dirty things a black guy wants to do.
