Actually, I can’t take credit for that recipie. It was born out of the 1970′s fondue craze. I went to a family Christmas party when I was in 7th grade with my best friend Michele. (She had 11 older siblings and they alway had a great party.) I had this dip there. I still remember dipping the bagels pieces, skewered onto long silver stickers, into the little silver fondue pot, . It was my first experience with fondue and it was sooooo tasty! Isn’t fondue making a comeback? Or did it already come and go again?

Hmm I had never really thought of this as fondue, but I guess it really is! I don’t think fondue is making a comeback, but it will also never really leave. A melty cheese dip is a melty cheese dip a party isn’t complete without one!
