Hi Rachel! I'm a new follower of your blog. I think making monthly goals is a fantastic idea. It's much easier to stay focused on a task that is broken out into parts. It makes the goals feel attainable.

I have given myself a "Get My Shit Together" 30-day challenge. Although I wasn't very specific or as you would say "SMART" with my goals it is a starting point for me to get it together.

Anyway, happy December and good luck with your goals!!

Hi Rachel!! Longtime silent reader!! I have been using a ton of your tips and guidance over the past few months of reading your blog!! I love your style!!

Anyways...i have been making goals each month and like you, they are not always met...! I have been calling them "Aims" instead of goals though. so they are something that i am aiming for...instead of accomplishing. does that make sense?

Ok....so my goals:
*and take note i am going to mexico for a week with my boyf and his family, so i made them pretty easy/realistic

1. lose 2-3 lbs (i have lost 20 solid pounds this year...and those extra 5 are just killer).

2. eat carefully (less handfuls of this and that)

3. drink more water

4. be nicer to myself, peers, family
