Hey, peops! First, THANK YOU to everyone who voted and helped my mom make it into the top six!!! We generated something like 40 votes this weekend, and I know that Facebook, Twitter, and this blog had a lot to do with it, so I really appreciate it! Now what happens is that the iVillage powers-that-be choose first, second, and third prize winners based on the top vote getters. Hopefully that damn strawberry has seen the last of its good fortune. I’ll let you know if she gets a top prize (my mom is notorious for winning second prize in contests, so that wouldn’t surprise me one bit).
ANYWAY….I used Random.org to generate a winner and it is…Caitie! I’ll shoot you an e-mail right now with details on how to claim your prize, but seriously, thanks again to everyone who helped!! Looks like I won’t be cut out of the will after all.
