Today I am so excited to present to you the official first podcast from Girls Gone Healthy. GGH is a joint project I have been working on with Leah (Your Nutritionista) over the past couple months. There will be more to come, but our first adventure is the podcast, which we recorded last month. (A podcast is like a radio show, so I totally felt like the girls in the old SNL skit when we were making this.)
This is the first in a series of podcasts which will focus on being healthy in college. We both know from experience how hard it can be, so we put together some of our best tips for you.

I loved the podcast! I recently graduated but now working on a masters degree, so I could totally relate to all the problems about eating in college to study munching, the only thing I didn’t like was your put down of 100 calorie packs, I buy 100 calorie packs of nuts and find them easy to throw in my bag if I know I am going to be in classes or meetings all day. they give me crunchy food that also gives me energy!
Hey I am glad you like the podcast! Regarding 100 calorie packs, we’re putting down the ones that are full of fake food — Oreos, cookies, etc. Those don’t fill you up or give you any nutrition! But I actually make my own 100 calorie packs with nuts and eat them nearly every day– I’d never knock portion control when it comes to whole foods!!
