Press Play: Green-Eyed Monster

by Rachel on 10/16/2009

I’m not at all a jealous person, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to be the object of some sexy man’s intense jealousy from time to time. Oh, you two hotties want to battle it out over me? While I just stand here and bat my eyelashes, waiting to choose a winner? Don’t let me stop you!

Jealousy is a pretty crappy emotion, but it inspires some great music. And…that’s this week’s playlist!

She’s Not Me (Madonna)

Ditch That (The-Dream) **I first heard this song when I was on set at the Beyonce cover shoot last fall and I’ve been addicted ever since

Jealous of my Boogie (Ru Paul)

Meddle (Little Boots) **I don’t use phrases like this often, but this song has the sickest beat

Greed, Hate, Envy (Nelly)

Don’t Cha (Pussycat Dolls)

Lay All Your Love On Me (Abba)

Jealous (Flo Rida)

Breakin’ Dishes (Rihanna) OR Ring the Alarm (Beyonce) **I’m pretty sure these are the same song…? Jay-Z…??

Your Woman (White Town)

What Goes Around Comes Around (Justin Timberlake)

Hey Jealousy (Gin Blossoms) **I love this super 90s song; it’s actually a karaoke favorite of mine

Cover My Eyes (La Roux)

Have a great weekend!

Hahaha. Back in the day, I always used to think that the Gin Blossoms were singing to some girl named Chelsea. “Hey Chelseaaaa. Hey Chelsea.” >.<

Great blog by the way – I just stumbled across it! I love finding new blogs to read =D
