A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes Part Deux

So….let’s say you’re a girl who is running in a Disney marathon, and you want some good Disney inspiration for your marathon, but you don’t want it to be baby Mickey and Minnie. You like the idea of Disney princesses and you actually thought you were Ariel when you were 3 years old — and your mom has the video evidence to prove it — but you just can’t support grown women who have the desire to wear Disney princess inspired wedding dresses.

And perhaps you’re thrilled beyond words that Disney is finally creating a black princess, but you’re still a feminist and a Jew lover, and so the whole Disney empire makes you a bit uncomfortable. You’re a writer, after all…a writer who loves her MacBook and her ipod more than anything. And rather than a black Disney princess, you’d just like a thinking Disney princess…cause even the fiesty ones ended up wifed at the end.

So, where does the modern girl find her inspiration?

ANSWER:

An amazing designer created this for my Apple and it arrived today! He does all sorts of custom work, so if you’re interested in this decal or anything else, let me know and I’ll pass along his info. But really…how excited am I to take this guy to Starbucks? And to get myself to Disney World?

I mean, I like the whole princess thing, but really, I am a bit too wicked for that stuff.

SHUT UP!

1. You really are running the Disney marathon? That is WICKED COOL no matter what flavor of Disney princess you are (I just happen to be an Italian Princess).

2. I am in love with your laptop decal. You simply must hook me up w/ the name of your designer. Here’s my email address: joanna.sutter@gmail.com.

Are you running the Disney Princess Marathon? OMG, that’s my six-month goal! (You are light-years ahead of me in training though.)
Go girl! Aaaaaaaand, I did start my blog, but it’s lame now. I’ll post a link or whathaveyou soon.

And oh yes, I will be garbed out in my Princess Tiana regalia when I cross the finish line. I’ve been waiting 29 years for this. Seriously, my parents took me to Disney World when I was three months old!

Well I am ahead in training because of when my half-marathon is; it’s nice because it gives me a little room for when I’m on vacation next month and the holidays.

So I will see you at the finish line then?? Princess Tiana — I’ll allow it.

Can’t wait to read the new blog! Keep me posted!!
