I know you’ve already made a Vision Board (if not, get to a craft store ASAP), but have you updated it since you made it two months ago? You have to stay on top of it so your requests and visions stay up to date!
Today, after what can only be described as “ritualistically purging the kitchen” (I went through the fridge with a proverbial hatchet, because yes, I practice what I preach, and then I moved on to the dishes), I decided to make over my VB (slash my life)! Off came the Latisse ad (got that last week!) and the not-so-subtle boyfriend request; up went some more productive, big-picture things. First, next to my Check from the Universe, a picture of Suze Orman, to let the universe know that when I do get that $5,000, I will spend it wisely. Then, in the boyfriend spot, a picture of Oprah, to remind me that even if you eat too many tortilla chips sometimes, you can still be the most powerful woman on the planet, and that’s really more important than having a boyfriend (although sex with a random at the gym is another story). Also chilling on there is the picture from page 194 of Glamour, as well as an article from the current Glamour: “10 Reasons You’re the Best” (my favorite being, “You give good birthday”), plus the Detroit Free Press Half Marathon logo and my “13.1″ sticker, and a quote from the current poet laureate Kay Ryan that says, “I find writing much harder than running. When you go out for a run, you never fail, but you often fail when you set out to write a poem, even if you try your hardest.” And I moved my “happy me” picture (which includes my friend Julia, who wanted some good vibes) to a higher, more prominent spot!
While I was doing this, I was looking through old pictures and things, and I found…a Starbucks gift card, a $25 gas gift card, and a Jimmy John’s gift card! Did I know I had these things? No!! And that is why you should make a Vision Board! It clearly improves your luck!!

I think I’m going to work on making one of these tomorrow. I need that motivation and it would be perfect to get me through my senior year of college and my weight loss goals as well.
DO IT!!! Perfect Lazy Sunday activity!
Love vision boards, but I fear I have failed in updating mine, always have the excuse of not having enough time!!! Perhaps I should stick a big clock on mine to get a little more time abundance!!
haha I love it!
